Justice, the renowned French electronic duo, has recently unveiled their latest funky single titled 'Saturnine', featuring the soulful vocals of Miguel. This collaboration marks an exciting addition to their upcoming album 'Hyperdrama', set to release on April 26 via Ed Banger Records.
A Fusion of Sounds: Justice and Miguel Team Up
Miguel expressed his excitement about working with Justice, stating, "I've been friends with Xavier and Gaspard for some years now, so to finally work together and create a great song has been the best experience. Merging our sounds felt effortless."
Justice also shared their enthusiasm, mentioning, "We don't think we've ever made anything that sounds remotely like this track before." The genesis of 'Saturnine' began with Gaspard experimenting with an E-mu synthesizer guitar sound, eventually leading to the creation of the main riff.
"We love Miguel's voice when it's raw," Justice added. "We wanted him to sound outrageously frontal, with no space around his voice. We felt confident we could make this work with a single mono take of his voice, and minimal processing."
